Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland will stretch from the entrance of Hyde Park corner along Serpentine Road all the way to the Dell Restaurant. The nearest tube station is Hyde Park Corner or Knightsbridge.

Offer to public within the event:

  • Christmas Market – chalets selling festive goods that will appeal to all ages
  • Europes largest outdoor Ice rink with 20m x 70m – capacity of up to 400 skaters per hour
  • A big wheel offering views across the park and London
  • High quality fairground attractions to include a Carousel, Helter Skelter, Haunted House, and ‘Kiddies’ ride
  • Snowtube slide
  • Snow ball bungy
  • etc.

The traditional Christmas market will surround the bandstand area so that this centrepiece will be a central hub for the whole event. Local schools and community groups will provide carol singers and entertainment to perform in the evenings on the bandstand. Father Christmas will appear throughout the day on the bandstand

There will not be any admission charge to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland and the area will not be fenced off.

The market will take place from 19.11.2009 until 03.01.2010.
